Optional Assignments

Listed below are assignments that are optional for physics students.  These assignments are not required!  The intent is to enrich the educational experience and give an opportunity to the student to improve his or her average.

The assignments will be graded as usual for quality and content.  The score will then be "averaged in" by adding the points to the student's record of grades or replacing a lower grade of equal value for the same subject matter.  Note: only quality work should be submitted for a grade; it will become a permanent addition to the student's record and could conceivably actually lower the numerical average.
