MATHEMATICS RESOURCES

||
Today's teacher has the opportunity to use the Internet not only as a
resource for an enormous amount of material and new ideas, but also as
a tool to excite and challenge students to learn, think and apply
mathematics so that they will be better equipped to be successful in
the 21st Century. Although mathematics teachers have access to endless
resources on the Internet, the reality is that there is unfortunately
too much information and too little time for the teacher to explore
that information given the demands of the classroom and class preparation
requirements.
This site is designed to help mathematics teachers locate current
and relevant topics to be effectively included in their lessons.
Through the use of this site teachers can quickly determine some
of the most effective as well as innovative methods and activities that
are being used by their contemporaries. This site also enables teachers
to direct students to other relevant sites that offer help for certain
topics and to complementary sites which encourage students to value math
for its beauty and patterns as well as for its value in solving authentic,
real world problems.
The following topics in the mathematics curriculum are included in
this site:
