MegaMath Project
The MegaMath Project is intended to introduce important mathematical ideas to elementary school classrooms so that young people and their teachers can think about these ideas together. MegaMath is the work of classroom teachers, mathematicians, students in education and computer science, elementary school and high school students, school administrators, computer scientists and parents. The activities included in MegaMath involve hands-on exploration, problem-solving and communication and opportunities for mathematical thinking. The authors hope to create in children the opportunity to see mathematics as lively and fun.
