Hello and Welcome to Farragut High School!

As the 2007-2008 school year begins, I would like to encourage your participation in the Farragut High School PTSO. The P (Parent) T (Teacher) S (Student) O (Organization) is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to support the students, staff, and community of Farragut High School. Family memberships are available for $25 and can be paid at Summer Insanity (Wednesday, August 1st). All money stays at FHS to support our many committees, including purchasing faculty wish list items. WE NEED YOU! Not only do we need you to invest your money, but we need YOU to invest your precious time to support OUR children.
Here are some ways YOU can get involved:


• Clinic-volunteers staff the clinic-Red Cross training provided
• Hospitality-goodies, treats, food for staff and special events
• Landscaping-periodic sprucing of the grounds
• Late Wednesday Programs- Admirals in the Morning (AIM)-help plan programs OR help monitor halls from 8-9 a.m. once a month while teachers collaborate
• Bookstore-staff the store between 12-2:00 p.m.
• Parent Connection-monthly luncheons and programs to equip parents
• Student Directory-type, copy, and distribute this useful publication
• Project Graduation-Senior parents help plan this unforgettable all-night event


EVERYONE is encouraged to get involved at Farragut High School. Volunteers provide necessary support for many activities that make FHS great! Your time and effort will be greatly appreciated. YOU can help “anchor Admiral pride”!
