PRIDE
Spring 2008 Application
The Pride Awards at Farragut High School acknowledges
students who excel both academically and extracurricularly. Each
semester, awards are given in the following categories:
Farragut’s Best Award
– all A’s, 2 clubs/activities, and 10+ hours of community
service.
Farragut’s Admiral Award
– all A’s.
Farragut’s Anchor Award
– all A’s and B’s, 2 clubs/activities, and 10+
hours of community service.
Farragut’s Star Award
– term GPA improvement of .5 or better from the previous
term.
The awards are handed out each semester at a breakfast attended
by students, parents, some faculty. For fall semester, 10th –
12th graders are eligible to apply. During the spring semester,
9th – 12th graders are eligible to apply. The award is based
on the previous semester’s accomplishments.
To be considered, students must pick up an application from the
Pride Awards Bulletin Board or the Guidance Office. Deadlines
for applications and dates for the breakfast are announced on
the daily announcements and posted on the FHS website. Contact
