The following summer opportunities are available:

Centre College Fellows Scholarship Program - This generous financial aid program enables many students to attend Centre who otherwise might not be able to attend. Applicants should be in the top 5% of their class, be taking a strong CP program and have an ACT score of 28 or higher.

UT Veterinary Summer Experience Program - The UT College of Veterinary Medicine is currently accepting applications for the 2008 Veterinary Summer Experience Program. Students will work in local veterinary practices for seven weeks. (June 9- Aug. 1, 2008) And spend one week in Knoxville as guests of the veterinary college. Deadline is March 31, 2008. Applications are available on-line at www.vet.utk.edu/summerexperience.

Emory University Pre-College Program - Discover the creative and intellectual life at Emory. Experience college-level academics, focus on your academics interests, live on campus, and take non-credit classes as well as courses for credit. Additional information and admission application are available at www.college.emory.edu/summer/pre-college . Residential space is limited, so students are encouraged to apply early. Application deadline is March 15, 2008.

Carnegie Mellon's Summer of Exploration - Both credit and non-credit classes are offered during this six week summer program. Choices range from architecture and fine arts(art, design, drama, and music) to video game development. For more information or to request an application, email them at precollege@andrew.cmu.edu

Washington & Lee Summer Scholars Program - This four-week academic program offers six curriculum choices, and a wide variety of co-curricular activities including joining the chorus, staffing a radio program, or improving your writing ability through writing lab. Take college-level courses in small classes, take field trips, participate in social activities, and intramurals.
